Today has been quite eventful to say the least. I honestly cannot wait for night time to come, so I can try to get some sleep. My day went like this:
I would love to say that I greeted this wonderful early morning view after waking up early. Instead, I greeted it due to staying up all night. My insomnia is definitely winning, when it comes to my sleeping patterns.
This morning I had to get a blood test and have a urine sample taken. I had been avoiding this due to a visit from Aunt Flo last week, because I already felt uncomfortable as it was. Today was the day, and I could not avoid it for much longer. I had to fast from midnight onwards, and I was only allowed to drink water leading up to the blood test. What I didn't anticipate was that I would fall asleep around 7.30 and wake up around 11am. The sleep was nice, but I was growing hungry.

She is as perfect as always, I do not need anyone telling me this, because I can just look at her and tell. The check up's are more for Nathan's ego, he loves bragging about how well she is developing. I am not going to lie, I do enjoy finding out all her measurements and hear the reassuring words that I am a fantastic mother. As we were leaving the clinic nurse said "Hopefully next time I see you, you have gained some weight and are pregnant". Considering Chloe's next check up is at two years of age, this could be very likely (pending my health). Nathan loves to think so.
After Chloe's check up we drove to the pathology office and I awaited my blood test. The lady finally asked for me and I headed into the room by myself, which is a massive thing for me because I have always had someone else present at my blood tests. I was definitely feeling brave. That is when the lady told me that I had fasted for too long, and that the test results could be inconclusive. The maximum fasting time was 14 hours, and I had been fasting for 16.5 hours. My bad. I went to the bathroom to collect my urine sample, washed my hands and headed back to the room. I sat in the chair and I could feel the needle go in bit by bit. I could feel the blood leaving my body as well. I immediately began to feel even more light headed than usual and I also felt as if I needed to vomit. The whole blood test process was taking longer than usual because I was apparently a bit dehydrated. Goody.
Immediately after the blood test was finished I felt awful. The lady let me sit down for a few minutes longer and handed me a sick bag. After a few minutes I had to leave and Nathan, Chloe and I went on our way inside the shopping centre. This is where I truly felt the most embarrassed that I felt in such a long time. I felt faint, the room was spinning, my vision was turning white, I couldn't hear and the ground was getting closer and closer. I also managed to vomit as well. It definitely was not one of my classiest moments, that is for sure. Nathan rushed off to get me something to eat, and came back with a fresh fruit salad pot, I ate a few pieces and began to feel better.
Nathan is back at work tonight, but under protest. He did not want to leave me at all. He made me promise him that I would call him if I was feeling worse, and that he would immediately come home. I am definitely not feeling 100%, but I haven't felt 100% in such a very long time. I do feel better than I did after my blood test, that is for sure.
In a few days time my results should hopefully be ready and I will be hopefully find out what is wrong with me. I will definitely be shocked if my iron levels were not low.

She still fits them all as well, even her medium sized ones! So needless to say, this makes me very happy. Last night I tested a MCN combo for night time use, she always leaks through a MCN during night time use, and it was a massive success! No leaks whatsoever. I was really pleased, because this means no more disposable nappies!
This was Chloe today during story book time. She insisted on holding the book herself and turning the pages. She did not want to hear any other story but Belle and the Castle Puppy. She definitely loves animals. You will see why with the next photo. Also featuring is her 'Gumball Giraffe' MCN by Baby Safari. I am so upset that they are closing down because I adore their nappies! Nathan did make a deal with me though, I could buy more MCNs as long as they were neutral colours. I guess I can deal with this.
