Yesterday...

Our info pack from HCF came! Our new membership cards should be arriving some time soon as well, which I'm very excited about. I'm one step closer to having the smile I have been wishing for, for quite a while now. Even though I will be in a fair amount of pain after all the work to my teeth, it will be well worth it to be able to smile without feeling self conscience and to be able to talk to people without thinking that they are judging me by my teeth. I know that it may sound really silly to some, but trust me, when you have been taunted about it for as long as I have, it is always in the back of your mind.

Nathan doesn't want me to get my teeth fixed, but I need to do it for myself, that part he does understand.

Speaking of the husband, this is how he went to work yesterday. Most of the guys in the workshop found it hilarious. In an odd way, I think it kind of suits him.
This had me laughing for quite some time. It's Pandora in a box, get it? Pandora's Box? I swear I should be a comedienne or something...

Oh, and I did get my blood test results back. I have a low level of jaundice and my thyroid is slightly over active. Surprisingly my iron levels were fine, in fact, the doctor said that they were fantastic for a vegetarian, so I was really happy with that. My blood pressure was low though, it was also low last time I visited him. So he wants to keep an eye on that. I have to have a repeat blood test in 4-6 weeks time to see where everything is at then.

I am also apparently underweight. By how much? 700g. Apparently some people think that this is cause for concern, I think otherwise. 700g is nothing. The doctor isn't too worried either, he said he would like to see me but on a few kilograms but it's up to me really. I like this doctor. All I need is a 1kg jar of Nutella and I'll easily put on those 700g. Of course, there is the whole slightly over active thyroid thing as well, which actually makes it harder for me to gain weight but who know's, it could just be an error in the test. I won't know for sure if it's anything to be concerned about until the next blood test.

So my blood test results weren't too bad. I just have to keep an eye on my blood pressure by having more sodium in my diet, good sugars and drinking more water. I drink at least 2L of water a day, so it's odd that I have to drink more. Oh well, no complaints coming from me, I love water!

Until next time...
